This is becoming a nightly obsession. Every night, I'm dreaming that I will find a Kenmore 800 at one of the used appliance places here. Keep sending me some good vibes, 2006 may be the year for me too.

Jason------

You need to call me. If you can handle the shipping or pick-up I know where at LEAST one 1965 series 800 is. If I had known, I could have brought one to you a couple of weeks ago.

Do you know of any 1970-ish ones, like the POD from last Sunday? The 1970 is my EXACT dream machine.

Jason------

Specifically---nooooo, I don't know of a 1970----however I will be alert and if I come across one I'll be sure to get your attention. If I do find one, would you ship it home or come and get it?

Did you try the place I told you about off of 167 near the railroad tracks? It is south of the tracks, so I am sure you will find a treasure there.

Steve, would the source you mentioned to Jason also have any 1963-model Kenmores, including any 800's? I am still chasing my 25-year old dream of owning one.

Thanks

I have no idea, I have not been by there in over a year, so who knows what's lurking. It is/was a big place. Your best bet would be to hookup with Jason after he visits and ask him.

big appliance place

Steve, the only place I see is the one south of the tracks on the southbound side of 167. Great place and the guy loves washers too but he didn't have any older Kenmores.

Harvest, do you have pics of the machines? I could only take the washer, no room for the dryer though :-(
