From jolly olde England, circa early 1960’s. Consumer stuff starts at approx 17:00 minute mark. One could spend a lot of time on this site...you were warned. Btw, the Hoover upright vacuum being demonstrated? THAT was the Vacuum in our suburban house in my youth...the US version (no red power switch on the base like UK had) of course.
