I just added the big three volume (nearly 450 pages) Early Frigidaire Refrigerator Comprehensive Service Manual to the Ephemera Library if anyone would like a copy. It's a pretty cool historical look at early home refrigeration from Frigidaire.

Vol 1 1920s thru 1933 Models... Refrigerators prior to 1933 (Low Side Float System), 1933 to 1936 Reciprocating Models (High Side Float System), 1933 to 1936 Rotary Models (Restrictor System)

Vol 2 1937 thru 1942 Models

Vol 3 Post-war Models through 1951

Silly me, I thought it was the reference in the song I'd Rather Be Blue Over You with  the lines:

While you're away I'm here to say

There'll be no ice man there

Singing the blues I'm gonna use

Nothing but Frigidaire
