In the catalog pictures for the two pairs of Kenmores, I believe those are the first side swing Kenmore dryer doors I have seen since the waterfall front of the very early 50s. Was it a mistake or were these doors actually offered? Thanks.

Self Cleaning Lint Filter

Just a little fuzzy about filters.
Do the machines today still have self Cleaning Lint Filters ?
I know that my Kenmore 90 series doesn't seem to do a very good job of removing the pet hair.
The Maytag I use to have with the filter in the agitator did a great job of removing most if not all the pet hair.

Side swinging kenmore doors

My Kenmore 700 (1969) porch dryer has a side swinging door on its larger than normal opening.

Your dryer is probably the old large capacity dryer listed on a back page in the laundry section of the catalog with the 18 lb. washer. These dryers are regular production models and I did not see them in the stores or in ads nor have I seen them in any appliance graveyard.

These machines appear to be Canadian models.

I have to agree that they are Canadian. When you view the indentations on the front lower section of the machines they are deeper, taller, and the angle is more than, and set in further from the edge of American Kenmores a the time.

Canadian. Thanks. Should I have looked for the words Simpson-Sears anywhere in the fine print or was this past that time?
