Nick, Your videos are excellent! :-) Honestly, mate – very good. You are so well spoken – easily a broadcast quality voice! I will watch more later! Excellent first effort. A+ (LOL!) Regards, Carl |

Excellent videos. A very cool machine. Your commentary track is also good. There wasnt so very much suds in the wash videos. These machines was sadly not sold here in Sweden as i know. |

That was really good. Very similar to my mum's 1987 Hottie. I noticed the first interim spin was longer, which is an improvement, although, why Hotpoints used to wait so long between the two interims I don't know. Awww you don't sound like chipmunk, there's nothing wrong with your voice. The commentary was great. And as for having nothing to say, well Nick, when has that been true LOL?? Take care Rob |

Hehe! Great vid's! I luv the motor sound!!! Brings back memories lol The spin profile is really similar to my Nans old washer/dryer but my Nans faffed around for a lot longer! My nans washing machine would scare the crap outta me, when it was really unbalanced in the distribute, and you know the fast acceleration was just a few seconds away.. i was always like "oh no, here it comes" I remeber it came right out across the kitchen once lol |

Hi Nick Great job done there, I`d sign you up for my voiceovers!!! The sounds those machines make just take you back to the years when even fridges make their own "unique noise", if I hadnt seen the vid I would have thought it could have been a Hoover....so similar those motors... Interesting point about the banging and dents in the side, I spoke to a long serving engineer about this and he always maintained it was to do with the motor being mounted on the top rHS and not placed underneath centrally... So the "Kick" as the motor jerks ( as they all did then) into spin, throws the whole alignment of the drum out of synch...Sort of made sense to me as you tend to see it less in machines with motors centred underneath... Happy washing, Mike |
