Wow, cool Maytags! Congratulations---that's an enviable find. They appear to be in very good shape, too.

They are beautiful machines, and what is also nice is they are really well built to last decades....how many machines can you say that about? Beauty, strength, and long lasting performance..sounds like the ultimate date, or a porn star, but Maytags have outlasted them all.

More Maytags

With all of your Frigidaires, you really need some nice Maytags. These certainly are among the most beautiful.

Please tell us the story.

Martin

Beautiful machines, Rich! Your washdays will never be confusing again. One button is all you need!

Love the cadet blue GE range in the background as well - will you bring that home?

Is there a 906 tree somewhere I don't know about? They're suddenly raining down from the heavens, it seems...

Those are beautiful

I love the blue painted lower panel sections.
(gansky1, I used to have 20/20 appliance spotting
x-ray eyes too, ps: love the hydrosweeps on the shop/
gayrhaj wall!)

Thanks- I would love to hang up one of the early spray arms, but tipping the scales at 11 pounds, I'll need more than a nail! (I have an old pump and wash-arm mount from a KDS-17 that I want to fashion into a lawn sprinkler - as if I had time for THAT, but it would be fun.)

Hi Greg,

Thanks for the post. No, I just can't get into ranges. There was also a pink GE there and I remember seeing pics of yours.

Thanks everybody for the best wishes. I'll take another shot or two of the Maytags when I get them home in a few weeks.

Rich
