A plastic tub in a real MIELE. Never!! Miele is not dumbing down all their washers!!. They just use some high quality fiberglass tub in the american sized washers to get the price a bit down. If you know how high the price of steel is today... |

They must export somewhere. Switzerland's population is only 7.5million. There's no way it could keep a company that size going purely on their domestic market. |

i think you are right in saying they must export - their web site has the option to be viewed in Dutch/French/Spanish/English & Italian so I am guessing they must have a market in these countries. The washer has ten languages built into it - why would they do that just for use in one country?! i think they look fantastic..... i also like the Schulthess machines.... |
