Well, The HLP21E has been replaced by Haier 3 times I decided that I wanted an upgrade. Well, I really wasn't looking, but I happened to be at Lowes, and walked through the appliance section and Saw a Haier XQB60 in the clearance section with a tag on it for $175 originally $410. It had a dent on the side, but I was able to push it out with my hand. I didn't even think of getting it, so I continued on shopping. The following day I went to go use the HLP21E and the motor just stopped turning... I unplugged it and it worked but spun very very slowly... I thought hmmmmm Im going to go look at that XQB60 again... So I head to Lowes and.... they had marked it down! It was $75!!! I couldn't pass it up. Grabbed a cart, and took it home! Even though I didn't fit in my trunk... had to lay it across the back seat (Thank god for fold down, this protected the leather!) I comes with the Manufactures warranty for the full year, and its MUCH MUCH higher quality then the HLP21E. Its SO much nicer, the motor, transmission, tub, and cabinet are much more solid. But enough chit chat, here are the PICS!!!!

Congrats on your washer bargain!!! I LOVE cruising Lowe's clearance aisles...especially the appliance dept. Got a Fisher & Paykel top load washer awhile back for $200.

I like your new toy!

How much does it hold? How fast is the spin? I had a small Haier at the cottage a while back. It always tied things in knots so I got rid of it. Your toy look much more proficient.

Wow

That wash action is really cool. Can you adjust the water level manually or is it preset? And can it be connected to a kitchen faucet or has to be pipes?

Thanks!

It holds 13.2 lbs, you can adjust the water level, and the max spin is 700rpm! I love it! Although I really need to find a Y valve that splits the hot and cold into 2 for Both the Cabrio and the XQB60 and doesn't leak! I bought two and they both leak... Any ideas where to get some good ones that have separate shutoff valves?

Hi Bobby,
This is a awsome machine. The design reminds me a bit like the Oasis. But this one uses a full tub of water. Are the controls easy to operate?
Best Wishes
Peter

That is some pretty good wash action. I am sure that the clothing will come out very clean!

Try Ace

I got "Y" splitter valves at Ace Hardware. (Emigh Hardware on El Camino here in Sacramento, pronounced "Amy" Hardware).

The valves have shut-off for each side, and are rated for Hot Water, make sure you look at the packaging. I found them in the garden area. I used the same valve for Hot and Cold water. I think they were a little over $6.00 each. They are a grey metal, probably aluminum. I have them under full pressure with no problem. I was able to connect my Filter-flo and my Maytag AMP in my garage with the wash tub in the corner. It is great to be able to use either of those two washers, or my newer Maytag Dependable Care which is in my indoor Kitchen Laundry Area.

YES!!! Upload some videos to Youtube!!!

The Cabrio/Oasis doesn't work as good with that much water in the tub, and once past a certain water level (right under balance ring is when it stops) a flood switch is activated and it drains to proper level... then you get error codes... LOL
