Hi Graham. It is a fun machine. I have a '51 Westyslantfront but currently, it is in the repair shop. Good luck and have fun with your new machine. Ross |

Be sure to post of picture of it washing if you hook it up. The old front loaders are a lot of fun. |

Back around 1990 or so I was at an estate sale at a house that was built in like 1952. It was a total time capsule and it had a similar vintage Westy pair in the laundry room still connected like they'd been in use the whole time and they were in mint condition. Also a GE combo fridge original to the home, mint also and which had already been sold. I so wanted to buy the Laundromat pair but had no place for them. I'm sure they would have gone cheap. I really love these little machines and wish I had a place where I could put a pair and use them for loads that are too small for my Duet HT's. I think we all know that the likelihood of any Duet or other modern day front loader still tumbling away trouble-free over 50 years from now is well below 0% Great find Robert & Graham! Ralph |

I have that set, but not in that good of shape. The dryer runs well but the washer could use a little spruceing up. This was the set that was in the picture I posted of the girls singing to the dryer awhile back. |

One of my favorite slant front models. Congratulations. They clean beautifully and are very quiet. Lots of luck and happy weighing and saving. Jerry Gay |
