pretty neat Wow-nice-and they were in the Navy!Designed to be installed in a submarine.Needs 480V 3ph to run though.You will need that rotoverter and step-up transformer if you want to use it at home-You could be the only one on your block that has a washer(s) from the Navy! | ||

Cannot imagine any sort of step up transformer for home use that would safely power this behomth. Of course if the transformer were hard wired into the breaker box, that would be different. Wonder who is bidding on this unit? Must be people in the commercial laundry business. Cannot imagine anyone having 480v power in a residential setting. Launderess | ||

Have any of you all seen the amount of bids on that thing lately? At the time I wrote this message, it's got 20 bids and is over $680!!! Still, that thing would be nice for washing the sleeping bags in my RV! | ||
