These are very nice!!! I already emailed the owner to see if they are available and called Patrick (Pdub) to give him the heads up and see if we can't snag these. I want to post it here also so of course give anyone else a chance at these! Only $50 bucks for these top-of-the-line Fidgies!!!

1-18?

Aren't those 1960s Rollermatics? Sorry if I'm wrong, I don't know my vintage Frigidaires that well yet.

Definately RollerMatics, with window lid and possibly Rapidry1000. A very nice set! even if they ARE in HarvestGold!

I think they're gold crown editions from 1967?

I've seen these in person

I just finished filling Jon in about these. This set was listed about a month ago with no photo. Of course being Frigidaires I called on them and talked to the guy. I then went to see them and they were identical to a set I already have, even the color. Well, I would have saved them but they both have major issues. The dryer drum goes clunk clunk when it's running and the glides or rollers seem to be worn out. The washer filled and agitated okay but when it went into spin it sounded like the bearings were shot and had a metal grinding sound. I suddenly had that "You can't save them all" revelation and so I passed on them. I know there are members that would love to have a set like this but either don't have the expertise to repair them, and/or the shipping costs are prohibitive these days.

It's sad to think they will go to someone who thinks they are getting a good deal and then finds out they have just paid to haul someone elses junk away.

Patrick

junk

"Mechanically solid, these have been taken care of very well. First fair offer takes these away today."

Perhaps a fair offer would be for the seller to pay someone
to haul them off...

If the cases are as good in person as they appear to be in the photo, They're worth getting and swaping out. If they were closer, I'd be interested since I have 5 rollermatics with either rusted or common outer shells & control panels, but with good transmissions and tubs. This WCD-65 is way too common to keep.
