Well, I took the plunge and aquired the Kenmore washer that was for sale in Philadelphia, Thanks Mistereric! The washer needs a good cleaning and some minor maintainence work which I have already started. Other than that and some TLC I think "The 800" will be fine. I plugged the machine when I got it home and turned it on, and it started right up HOORAY! I will try to post a few pictures of her soon.

So the face matches the paint on the colored machines? I'd like to see an avocado one. |

Hi Doug, great to see you get this vintage washer. I might have the owners manual/parts breakdown for this. Let me check and if I do I will send it to you. Im sure you are thrilled! |

Hi Jason, yes as you can see the console does get painted to match the color, growing up a good friend of mine had a 1969 800 in avacodo and the console was painted in the same avacodo color too. They are neat machines. Jimmy, Thanks in advance if you have the info, it would be helpful. And I am excited that I got this machine, it's your typical belt drive Kenmore just like I remember growing up with. Should be a fun machine too! If I have any tech questions I will give a hollar!
