As fate would have it, I may have to be there next week on business.. That 'lil Focus station wagon of mine has happily transported a GE SU60S1 from Toronto and a GE Mobile Maid from upstate NY, so I have no excuse, right?? Forgive my curiosity, but when did you live in NYC? I was there for several months in 1999 working with my US customers on the Y2K thang! |

I just had an update on the dishwasher, it's located in Westbury, NY which I think is close to the Queens border on Long Island? Paul I lived in mostly in Mahattan (Grenwich Vil, Chelsea, Clinton, Midtown East, Upper East side and Upper West Side), but I also lived in Staten Island and Kew Gardens, Queens for a bit as well. I was there for about 11.5 years total. |

OMG Westbury is right by me. It is 8 to 10 miles from the NYC (Queens) border in Nassau County Long Island. I wish I had a way to retrieve it and save it for you....no truck. :-( Try this address of an office building nearby to get a feel for location via MapQuest 99 Jericho Turnpike Jericho, NY 11753 Paul, I hope you can get it! |

regardless, I would still come to Westbury if need be..It will give me a great excuse to go shopping at one of my favorite stores for clothing, Century 21. |

Hey guys, sorry I lost touch on this thread, but the NY customer went live this weekend without asking me to head down there to help, so no chance of scoring this KA... Then again, my recent dishwasher buying spree has my partner's nerves on edge. When do you guys think I should tell him about the 1956 GE all-in-one kitchen that I found in Texas???

Why do they get upset every time another washer, dryer or dishwasher ends up their garage? Don't they know we ran out of room a long time ago? :-) Bobby in Boston |
