couldnt remember whether all these have been posted before. did try the forum archives, but nothing jumped out at me to say that they had so here they are.

have to say that i am not completely offended by them, although the washers and dryers do look, well, fussy! In particular the non-digital machine.

any news on whether/when these machines are coming to UK shores at all?

any news on Aqualtis dryers?

will be interested to see an Aqualtis pairing side by side. i wonder whether they will have the door on the dryers hinged on the left, so as to make an unwritten rule that the dryer lives to the left of the washing machine to make loading/unloading from one to the other easier.

enjoy.

have to say i really like the dishwashers.

if they did one in black, this would be the machine living in Darth Vader's kitchen!

lines of perspective and angles are a bit askew in this image of the condenser dryer.

Messy,

Jesus, well I share your opinion to be honest, the Aqualtis has grown on me a tad but im still not liking all that plastic. What is it with this company? Extremes of shite by the looks of it, that god awful Moon in its simpleton state or the over complicated pieces above. Its odd how manufacturers rave on about how we all like to get on with laundry, setting the machine and letting it get on while we make the most of life, silent motors so we dont hear it yet they give us over busy control panels and awful design thats far from easy on the eyes. Eeeek! R

I do agree that the facia design should/could be improved to make it a bit less 'busy' but, like with the aqualtis they may grow on us (although i wouldnt have thought to the same extent).

I think its safe to say that we may be going through a period of design experimentation at the moment, like Citroen does every decade or so with its cars - like comparing the Xantia back with the DS and the AX to the C3 (something like that anyway!).

unusual designs which slap us across the face and, whilst we may not like them much, certainly make us sit up and take notice.

I have an older model Hotpoint slimline TL and would swap it for that baby in the wink of an eye!

I love those designs. They stand out from the crowd. More please!
