Hey there everyone, I know there are bazillions (well a lot anyway) of used belt-drive Kenmore / Whirlpool transmissions out there that could be re-used, I have about 8 myself, however I need a somewhat unusual part. I need a drive pulley for the narrow belt. There were three basic pulleys, though there were revisions of the main pulley and probably the others several times. The most common is the pulley for the infamous basic belt (95405 is the part number), one for the ribbed belt used in compacts, and one for the machines built with the quiet-pac, narrow belt. I soon would like to work on a 1975 large capacity machine that has the big Penta-Swirl agitator. That machine came into my possession after it had been scavenged a bit, and is missing a pump and transmission. Part of the charm of bringing it back to life is finding the missing parts. The pump isn't a big deal, neither is the basic trans, but I need a pulley to go on it. As far as I can tell, the last machine that used that belt was issued in 1975, and this is the model I have. It needs to be put into action again! Does anyone have one you are willing to part with? If so, I'd love to hear from you! Enjoy the day everyone! |
