The before, during and after pics of this machine are completely astonishing. To think that a tired, dilapidated, and presumably dead "bitch" could be restored to a young, beautiful, vivacious cleaning machine. :)

I'm curious as to how long it took (was this a weekend project?) and what the total cost was for the restoration.

Totally AWESOME JOB! Thanks for sharing!

Bill

Bill, are you referring to the beautiful green frog eye machine? That was an amazing transformation.

If it's the one in the transformation area...

Then YES...that's it. :)

Not the same machine I was referring to but beautiful job regardless.

Maybe someone here will be able to remind me/advise you of who did the amazing job on the frog eye and painted it a beautiful shade of green that looks entirely appropriate for the period even though it wasn't a color that Sears offered.

And where to find pix of it.

Cool!

I'd definitely like to see that.

You might be thinking about my green 56 Kenmore??

But I think Dirtybuck was talking about Roberts white 57 Lady Kenmore, from the restoration section of the site.

DAMN!!

Nice machine also, Rick. I take it that's the "mysterious" green eyed frog? :)
