Look at this beautiful 1960 Frigidaire washer and dryer pair that Jimmy Filter Flo found! He said they run great and the washer even has the original three-ring agitator!

Mini Wash-in

"Have fun with Mike this week at the Long Beach mini wash in!"

There's a mini wash-in in CA this weekend?

So Beautiful!

Jimmy,
What a find!
I am so happy for you.
I am also glad that you found them before they were discarded for being old. I shudder when I think of all of the beautiful machines that have gone to the krusher.
I can't imagine how beautiful your set is in person!
I am glad they found you!
Good to see you post. Have fun with them.
Miss your post.
Thanks for the pictures Rich!
Brent

Wow Jimmy, great find!! They look to be in mint condition. You can add these to your great collection now. And I remember how you like matched sets so well!

Congrats,
Rick

PS The 1964 V-14 Filter-Flo I got from you is still running and looking just great.(I did some cosmetic restoration to the cabinet too.) I do two to three loads a week in it.
You sure find some great classic machines.

CA mini wash-in

"Kenmore78...we had talked about it, but had to cancel."

Darn, because I sure hated missing the "Grand Opening" one. Oh well, keep us informed, that's the closest we'll get to a "basement" here in CA :-)

Jimmy congratulations on this wonderful find! We now have "twin" sets!

Nate, these are wonderful machines. Beautiful when lighted especially, and have a fun control interface with the 2 way cycle selector switch and the offset timer knob. I have a set as well, that are soon off for an extended visit with their Uncle Don in suburban Minneapolis, until one day they will come to California too.

Hate to tell you, but if that is what it hinges on you may be S O L. Those are nearly impossible to come by. Lot more dryers than washers are still around. Beautiful machines!
