these washers reminded me a thread I was going to create today.

4 or 5 years ago I traveled to Asuncion - Paraguay and I saw two interesting Whirlpool washers in many appliance stores.

They look like this lady Kenmore, but they are not automatic (and also don't spin)

Model A has only a timer that looks like a kitchen timer and the other model has a drain pump switch.

Does anybody know these models? I would love to see it's pictures again. Maybe I'll have to drive to Asuncion again (350 km from here) and see if I can find this washer again.

Obviously not for everyday use, but for my collection.

What is your model number?

Most likely the pump is #285317, this is what was used in MANY portables of the era, but we would really need your model number to be certain.

That post that's on Youtube is the first time that I've seen a agitator mounted dispenser on the portable machine. I never knew that they were available for those.

Wish I'd thought to take photos at the time, but I had a 1985 Kenmore portable that had the fabric softener dispenser on the agitator in my second apartment. It wasn't a Lady Kenmore, but it was the 'deluxe convertible' model.
