Pretty nice looking GM Frigidaire. What model and year is this one would you guess?

Late 70's 1-18 Roller-matic. Veg, HUN - go grab it! You know you need a real Frigidaire at your place, not some pesky front loader.... hehe

SO awesome. I would buy just for the Avacodo and the wood-grain console.
And he has a low back GE Avacodo dryer.

a match made in Heaven !

I wonder what this person is thinking though. If the washer is so good. why replace it?
Just get a new dryer, paint it Avacodo, and there you go.

Or better yet, get a new Whirlpool Duet Steam dryer in Avacodo.

"Thumper agitator" lol. I still like Uppy Downy style. LOL.

But I think Robert needs to correct me here because he would know the propert term and I don't want to be offensive.

They certainly will not find anything new that cleans like that! I have the same machine and it's cleaning abilities are incredible. I sure hope someone saves it, it's condition appears very good. Too bad I'm so far away...

The up and down agitator on this particular Frigidaire is referred to as the "Jet Cone" agitator.

ah Joe, my man. Its only 3 hours one way. And you get to pass through Ashville and visit the Biltmore Mansion if desired. (you've probably been there, done that)

Just imagine, the biltmore mansion with an Avacodo I-18, several in fact.
one for each wing at least 4 on each floor. ???
why not.

You know we would all be thinking something similar right.

(thought bubble): hmm, If I lived in the Biltmore mansion with all that square footage?
well the Maytags would go in the ballroom.
The GEs, perhaps the Maids quarters.
The wringer washers, Oh, the drawing room.
Whirlpool in the library.
And the KitchenAids in the Conservancy, no the Scullery. hehe.

I'm babbling here.

And Frigidaire called these washers "Jet Action" washers, according to the advertising of the day.

Please expound on your comment. I get the thumper part, it's the rest I didn't understand.....

Why would a washer make you sick? And who's the redneck?

Allen, I think Steve was calling the dude that posted the ad on Craigs List a redneck for saying "thunper"
