You can change the color to anything you want - sand, prime and paint and you're up to date again. If the inside looks OK and the racks are decent, it's good find.

My uncle had that exact dishwasher at his home in Virginia. One of the best.

Good Luck,
James

nice machine...

As far as features it is loaded. One of my favorite machines. I always liked how if it was interrupted during a cycle and the latch was raised...the indicator light would remain on to remind the use that it was interrupted.

That machine was made between 1974-1977. I think that $75.00 is a bit high for the price considering its age. Perhaps the seller would negotiate.

It is a beautiful machine!

What's going on?

These models had that cool feature you mentioned, Todd, where the Action Indicator Light would remain lit when the latch was opened so you would always know what part of the cycle the machine was in. I wish they had kept that thru the years. After that one, you really didnt know what was going on unless you were the person who opened the door.

I would love to get my hands on one of those again not for the machine itself as I much prefer the double washarms so much as to be able to convert a newer machine back to the 17 or 17A type for the cycles as well as the better washability the double arms will afford the user.

Wiring harnesses would have to be extended as the timer was located on the bottom of the machine and only the buttons and lights were up in the top of the door.

If I happen upon one near me, it will be in the truck in a flash!
