I saw an ad for this artist in Atomic Ranch magazine, and immediately thought of all of you. The work is by Jim Ward Morris, who has many interesting retro/mid-century/post-modern photo prints and signed Gilcee prints are quite reasonable.

Please don't copy or forward these as they are copyrighted (I shouldn't even be posting 'em here) but I think most of you would enjoy seeing more: www.jimwardmorris.com...

BTW: Looks like some of you have found some treasures lately. Always enjoy seeing what gems turn up.

Kelly

washers also make municipal sculptures.

while searching through Flickr, I stumbled across the piccy below.

It is taken in an Icelandic town square - if i remember correctly.

There are loads of images of the feature - venture over to www.flickr.com..., type in washing machine and click the 'most recent' option. Then search through the first 10 or so pages - this hould yield many images of the installation.

surprised to see a Hotpoint WM so far north and also never knew that Zanussi did a polar white version of their 'Washcraft' Z-series machines.

enjoy - kind of!
paul
