Hello,

Those of you who remember the Tucson convention, this is steven from SD. As you know my collection has recently grown thanks to gansky and my wife and I welcomed out baby girl on the 26th! With all that excitement I'd like to offer the following for anyone interested:

In storage in Murietta I have...

1. pink 1958 Frigidaire CI filtrator dryer
2. white 55 Frigidaire CI dryer
3. 1970 Kenmore Combo

I don't have photos right now but if anyone is interested in adopting these I'd love to see them goto good homes. I'd love to find a matching washer for that 58 dryer, and the 55 dryer is a match to my 55 washer, but I don't have enough room for all the machines that mean alot to me so I'd like to see them goto someone who can give them the love and attention they deserve.

All items are complete and not in working order but I believe are close to working. If anyone is iterested send me an email ( click on my name) and I'll answer any questions and take pics when I get up to Temecula next.

Thanks,
Steven

Can you post photos in this thread when you get them (especially of the 70 Kenmore combo)?

I would be interested in the combo. Is it gas or electric? What condition is it in?(Does it work?)Is it a "Lady"?

suprising

I really thought most everyone would want the frigidaires, that combo was working when it was removed from service and its gas. Its dirty on the outside and inside and the control panel is a little icky.

Does nobody want those beautiful dryers? I thought for sure I'd be taking that combo to the dump not the other way around!

I remember that combo. For those interseted, it is in very good shape consideering the age. It was toward the last of the Kenmore combo run. It features an 30 minute Enzyme soak cycle and also wrinkle guard at the end of the dry cycle. Otherwise, it's pretty much like all the narrow combos from 1965 on.

Hi Steven, congratulations on the birth of your daughter! You may remember me from the Tucson wash-in. I met you the night we went back to Ross’s so you could see his machines (By the way, thanks again Ross!). I took this picture, but I’m not in it.

Anyway I believe I took some pictures of the combo.

I wish we could have hooked it up during the Wash-in. It looks like an awesome machine.

Thanks for the pics, Jeff. That is the combo that Roger brought home from a store in Phoenix and is now in my garage awaiting bearing replacement surgery.

Your welcome, Greg and that explains why it wasn’t hooked up at the Tucson Wash-in.

Steven is anyone going to save those dryers? I thought they would have been gone in a flash.
