Hi I want to switch out an agitator on a Raytheon style unit Lw7503w, does it really take a special tool to get the agitator out? Anyone have any alterative ideas? | ||

You should be able to grab the agitator near the base and pull up. Not on the base itself but where the vane come and make the turn. There is a drive bell that the agitator is clipped to. You will see what I mean when you pull it out. | ||

Will give it a try I found the repair manual at appliancejunk.com. I was able to dl the pdf file. Thanks for the info | ||
