No,Whirlpool made few, if any,changes on the Whirltag Maytag After the main takeover and new look.They"ve only added the stainless steel tub,window lid,and centered the timer to give them a little originality but,all Maytag has realy done is to become the new Kitchenaid appliances for the middle to upper middle class income homes and boosted KitchenAid up a few notches for the more sophisticated,upper middle to upper high class homes. |

Some of Maytag dishwashers are still the Maytag design with Whirlpool sourced parts. I also noticed that the Kitchenaide still has the four arm lower spray, the rest seemed to be Whirl though. What the lady at Lowe's told me was the Washer line ceased to exist on the day of aquisition, but some models of dishwasher will remain at least for now. |
