i am wondering if i should change the belt it works fine but seems like the speed could be a tad faster, chances are, it has the original belt, i'll have to look at it. i will deffinatley be posting pics on here and a youtube vid when i get the camera!!! | ||

Check the belt tension. The motor is on 3 bolts and can be tightened up. | ||

i checked the tention on the belt, there is a tad bit of slack, not much tho, i can move the side of the belt, should it be tighter? | ||

hey! i am back, i just tightened the belt, it seems like it is still the same, and i noticed that the stream of the recirculation pump is still the same, do u think it needs a new belt? or could it be something else. | ||

Hmm.....the clutch assembly is a dry-type, so if you're seeing sprayed oil, look for a leaking transmission. Does the belt have grease on it too? If so it's probably slipping pretty bad. | ||

Your reciric plume doesn't go as far as mine. . .
reminds me of a game we played in the boy's room as kids. Sometimes lint and hair can partially clog the passage for the recirculation water. It's just a matter of cleaning it out, you can get to it while you are under tightening the belt. The old GE/FF my mother had had a clear neck on the connection so you could see if it were blocked. | ||
