my dishwasher collection that is and it's all thanks to this great site and to robert for starting this awesome site and to all you wonderful guys for your help and info.

i just got a call from jim the trucker and he picked up a rotorack kenmore for me in tenn. this past weekend. it will be here in cinti. in about a week! the man gave it to me and jim's rate for delivering it is very reasonable. about the same as "u crate it" and i would rather give him the money cause he's a nice guy and offers a great service!

question for anyone familiar with the D&M machines of the past. are pump seals still available for these old kenmores, should i need one. the owner told me it doesn't leak but i always like to have a back up should it need one. he did say it needed a new spray tube for the roto rack, anyone know if any are out there? if not i will make do on that.

appreciate any info you have guys, and one more thing here too. i was talkin to "dishwasher crazy" about this. i will post a seperate post on the super section concerning this topic. i am concerned that if something should happen to me, you know like if i croak tomorrow (and it could happen as we all know) i would not want all my dishwashers to end up in the garbage heap. i am going to make sure that if i get run over by a truck full of appliances while riding my motorcycle all my machines will be given to anyone who wants them on this site. i can just see the post now!

OKAY GUYS COME AND GET EM!!!!!!!!! HE KEELED OVER TODAY!!!!!

maybe if i have any money left when i go i could arrange for jim the trucker to load em all up and make one big round to everyone! like a dishwasher santa claus. "were you good this year?" "great, here's a nice kd-5 top loader for ya". "what, you say you were bad, how bad? oohhh, i like that, here's a stainless tub kdss-17a for you".

but ofcourse since only the good die young i'll prob be collecting these things till i'm 90! i hope!

The impeller and seal kit is still available, or was not long ago when I last redid a D&M machine. Make sure to measure the impellers from the old machine because there are a couple of different impeller/seal kits for these machines.

great

thanks a lot, appreciate it! that's what i needed to hear. i figure as long as i keep a good seal in it and no leaks it should run great for as long as i want it to.
