I want to check this dryer out. Wonder how old it is? |

41 to 44 years old. Dryer was manufactured between 1965 and 1968. It is a Model 800 if I am not mistaking. --Charles-- |

Yep, that is an 800. These and there washer matches were perhaps one of few to have been issued for four years without substantial revision or rebadging. I believe there was also a version of this dryer with a full width door. Have a good one, James |

I agree with John, the later dryer design is better than the earlier, however for nostalgic reasons I like the belt-drive blower models. I have a model of each of these - a 1965-built 800 with full-width door and belt-drive blower, and a 1967/68 built model with the larger drum and full fixed rear bulkhead. |
