Maytag "DG" Series Dryer- Pilot to Electronic Ignition? |

Does anyone know when or if the "DG" series Maytag Gas Dryers changed from standing pilot to electronic ignition? Thanks for any help. | ||

"My mother's gas-heated 64/65 Halo-of-Heat dryer with the aqua lower control panel had a pilot light. I am tempted to say it was a DG306, but I really don't recall all that clearly." The 06 series began in 1966, so it must have been an 00 or 02 series dryer.....or your time period is off by a couple of years :) | ||

Thanks Thanks everyone for the input. I had been wondering if the HOH models ever changed over to electronic ignition or if it happened when they went to the bigger capacity and lint filter up front. | ||
