WOW that's RARE!! A Thor Automagic in working order!

The first time Consumer Reports tested the Automagic (in 1947 judging by the report) it rated its washing effectiveness "fairly good" and spin-drying effectiveness "excellent." I wonder how fast the spin speed was?

My Thor GladIron owners manual has pictures and promotional information about the "Automagic" washer, but never thought I'd see one.

See that? Someone starts a post about rare vintage washing machines listing the Thor, and up one pops. The Appliance Gods are listening.
