That washer is exactly like the one I use everyday,almost as good as a Norge...

Me too!!! My parent bought it in '82. That washer could not be overloaded. It doesn't work anymore, but it is rusting on my dad's back porch.

Pop a Top again...

Probably someone "tried to fix it" but the pump is underneath. That's usually what goes out of those things anyway (and the wigwag).

I remember 10 years after my parents bought the set, the moisture sensor went out. My mom had to have a matching set, so he disconnected it, just run it on a timer. A fuse blew inside the dryer the first year we had it, but the hard part was finding a Whirlpool parts store. The washer never had an issue until four years after he put it on the back porch with no cover, then the motor froze up.

They look exactly like the set I bought in 1983 or 84. Great machines, love the double duty surgilator.
