With the slim choices in portables, he may be on to something. When the DW breaks down get another craigslist machine and roll on. I do wish the mechanicals were a little more sealed up, in case someone with curious children would buy it. alr2903 | ||

I was thinking of doing some like that, if I found a built-in that I just had to have. I would cover the sides and back, I will give him an E for effort though. | ||

I like it In the vein of thereifixedit.com and youdrivewhat.com, this is pretty good. I would have closed the sides in and made it a little more pretty but utilitarian and naked works just as well. Some people really don't have the money and resources to get anything better. So don't judge them. | ||

There aren't many portables being made today. Whirlpool, GE, Kenmore, and Maytag. I wonder if they will eventually stop making portables? | ||
