As you may have noticed (if you've been following my exploits) I have amassed quite the collection of washers & dryers. Too many in fact, Sooooooo...
I'm "thinning the heard" as it were. There may be others too, but this is what I've assigned to the "it's got to go" pile, so far.

So if any of you are interested in ANY of these...

PLEASE send an email to me at: Revvinkevin@gmail.com

Any of them not spoken for by June 14 (2 weeks from now) will go on Craigslist just to make them go away.

Thanks!
Kevin

FIRST UP: A 1984 Lady Kenmore belt drive washer in almond or beige or...
it works great, but the valve that controls the flow to the triple dispenser leaks when engaged. I've bypassed it for the time being.

This washer is FREE to anyone who wants it.

Here we have a newer Maytag washer... it also works fine, BUT needs the fuse in the lid switch changed. I just have not bothered because I've been too busy lately to mess with it.

Model # LAT9593AAW
Serial B8142164 HS

This washer is FREE to anyone who want it!

Here we have a 1971 gas Lady Kenmore dryer. It's definitely used but still in decent shape. It did worked fine until the motor died in the middle of my Jan 30th wash-in, when it was supposed to be drying clothes, but wasn't. I DO HAVE another motor for it which is included. Again, I've not had the time to mess with it.

I've got $50 into this dryer, but it's FREE to whoever wants it.

The last of the freebies

revvinkevin's profile picture

Here we have a 1973 Frigidaire 1-18 220V dryer (Sorry Drew). It does work and sounds good, but the last time I used it it was not heating as it should. Again, I've not had the time to look into it... and it's on the chopping block, so to speak.

This dryer is also FREE to anyone interested. Just send me an e-mail.

Now the "almost free" options

revvinkevin's profile picture

Now up for your consideration is the 1980 Kenmore 70 series (belt drive) washer and matching gas dryer.

The washer and dryer both work great. The washer currently has a small leak which I'm going to repair before these go out. I'd like to get back what I have into them (out of pocket), $150. if you are interested, please contact me, make an offer if you want.

A Maytag 806 washer

Series 2

Date code ZH

This washer works great. The tub ring seal recently started leaking, with the highest water level setting, while spin-draining. I probably should try tightening the tub ring clamp... and I probably will, but at this moment I haven't taken the time. Also the console light stopped working, I tried replacing the bulb, but no luck.

I've got $40 into it... make me an offer.

Now a GE filter flo. The one works perfectly and has no issues at all. I really like the machine and hate to get rid of it, but I need the space.

I swapped out the control panel so it has the correct water level control for a mini-basket... and added a mini-basket. YAY!

$50 OBO

So again, if anyone is interested in any of these... PLEASE send me an e-mail: Revvinkevin@gmail.com

Thanks!
Kevin

NICE machines Kevin!

I didn't know that you had that later model Maytag. Pretty cool... Not sure I was aware of the white 806 either.

GOOD LUCK in finding new homes for the machines!

Update on the 806....

revvinkevin's profile picture

I forgot I put new belts on it (it had the wrong, non-Maytag belts and didn't work right) so I have more then $40 into it... oops!

= = = = =

Thanks Gordon! I'd like for all of these to go to good homes somewhere.

Kevin

Just curious:

What model year is the newer Maytag?

Oh come-on Kenny... you KNOW you want to take a drive out to Los Angeles, RIGHT?? LOL

James: I think the "newer" Maytag is late 80's or maybe early 90's (QSD Dan, where are you when I need you?). This one has the different transmission, with the shorter, faster stroke.

>>UPDATE<<

The 1984 Lady Kenmore has been spoken for...
and... the 806 was spoken for by a non-AW member that stumbled across the site a few days ago.

That's a nice looking GE, hope someone jumps on that.

I need to clean out my storage unit this summer - too much stuff here too. Now that you'll have all this room, Kevin...
