Is that a KDC18? or a KDI17?

Pretty sure its a 17 Series. The operating manual I have for the 18 Series shows different style buttons.

16 series

Looks like the 16 series style control panel. Has the rounded look..the 17's had the more angled look IIRC!

Looks like a KDI-16 ... but seems to have an extra button.  What's that about?

A late-production Imperial 16 with Soak Cycle added?  Anybody have a brochure?

KDI-16 WITH SOAK

This was the first mid line built in KA DW to have a heater to help keep the water hot during the cycle, it was amazing how long it took KA to add this feature that every other dishwasher had had for 20 years.

I love the wood-paneled front! So, Eddie, did you grab it yet??? LOL

The wood inserts are particularly attractive, it looks like a matched veneer. I would be curious to see what the cabinetry looked like in the kitchen the dishwasher came out of.

Hi Paul and Everyone

I really don't want another Single Arm Machine. If it was an 18 series, I'd grab it. The single arm machines are not practical for Bob Loading. I'm never thrilled with the results.

could be late production 16 with soak added, or thats an early uncorrected ad copy that was released. It does have the soak cycle and is in mint condition.

Maxing-out use of a machine's capacity to within a smidgeon ... say a 1/4" :-) ... of available space.
