I have never seen Maytag wringer before with agitator from Maytag Highlander automatic. |

Of all the wringers I have seen I have never come across one with an agitator like the automatics. |

No time to scan and post it now, but the wringer agitators do have a "cup" around the spline and shaft, they added it to be sure the air bubble or block was maintained around the shaft, I'll look it up later after work, it's quite interesting. I have a Maytag "Let's Talk Service" bulletin on it and on the filter agitator, it was an option for the wringer washers.

The cup must have been added on later models. I have wringer agitators without that cup. |
