I had a great time at Greg Nunns house today. He was able to give me a formal tour of his collection, as last time there were so many people there, it wasn't really possible!

After a fun day, I came home with some real treats! I brought home a FANTASTIC gold and chrome eureka cordaway upright. It says everything about 1970. Flower bag, chrome, GOLD! Aha. What a gorgeously ugly vacuum! I love it!

Also Greg gave me a fantastic hoover 913. Its looks so nice, and has the original bag!
I also took a kirby handle fork from a model 505 or earlier, and a nice replacement hoover bag that I can use on my 28!

For now, here are some pictures of the beautiful eureka. Not sure what model it is, as the tag on the bottom is gone. Someone may know!

The uber-70s bag! In awesome shape! The ones I have seen, the tops are crushed in by the handle. This one is perfect! No wear on it!

This machine also has the powertouch thingy. There is a switch under the handle grip to engage high speed I believe. Haven't used the machine yet.

Looks almost identical to the one my grandmother had. Still worked great 6 years ago, but she wanted something newer. I hope she didn't throw it away!

I have a similar Eureka upright that is my daily driver. Still works great after all these years.

Aren't these machines just awesome??!

They are definitely becoming rare. Never pass one up!

They are so quiet and musical sounding for an upright!

Here is a video of literally the exact same machine!
