WOW!!!!!!

If I didn't have a pair, I'd be all over those like a cheap suit.

these are not L5's

...what you see is an L8 with a D8 mate....hey... that Rhymes! The dryer has a HIGH heat & LOW heat setting & an air only setting- it also has the AUTO setting, & can be used in 220 or 115 volt setting- how much do they want?

Oh Duh, you're correct Robert, it is an L8, you know we only have these in our kitchen, why should I know that lol.

I think I need another vacation.

The owner did not discuss a sale price.

the TWINS

as I recall were dubbed as Americas Favorite Twins.....I luv all this neat stuff- Robert you do so much to keep all of us together! I think my favorite term found in one of the use n care guides was "premature stoppage"....due to overload....

Robert (Syndets) you are correct in that this has auto dry (the button).  This was the only Westy dryer I ever saw of this design style and I though (and expected) every other dryer to have that feature.  and only a few that have been collected here do.One of my mom's best friends had this dryer, paired with her 1955 Unimatic.  The pair were still going strong when she replaced them with a Poppy Red Custom Deluxe 1/18 pair sometime in the 1973-1975 time frame.

Got Em!

I pick them up the first week of March. The owner had them for an extremely reasonable price and wanted them to go to a good home. More pictures to come after I pick them up and scrub them up and see what all they need. It was nice to see that at least one seller of an antique washer and dryer didn't have visions of funding his retirement from the sell of the machines.

Beware of your Sellers plans in early March

Mardi Gras parades run up to actual Mardi Gras. Local traffic can be more, or folks have other schedules too. Some places close some steets for parades.

Many businesses are closed on Mardi Gras on the Gulf Coast, rentals can fill up, hotels and motels too.

Your seller is on the East side of the Mobile bay, thus away from main Mobile, thus this probably is not much of a concern. Probably a bigger issue is making sure your seller is going to be there and not at a Mardi Gras event.
