Haven't seen one of these for a long time, this was completely Hobart designed and built. The control system could be troublesome, the neat thing about the KDSS_20 and KDSS-21 was that they used a mechanical timer like device to actually switch on and off all the parts of the machine, so the machine still made the neat clicktly-click noise as it was selecting and changing cycles. I may still have some control parts for the electronic 21s if someone wants to get this and play with it. As many of you may know I still have the only surviving KDSS-20 in my kitchen which I liked better because it gives two final rinses and it still has the non reversing motor. |

My friend John still has one of these in his kitchen and claims it works fine. I took a picture of it with my phone about a year ago to post here, but it came out horrible.
I thought I would take it from him if he ever decided to replace it, but have heard too many times that the electronics are problematic. |
