Oh, don't cut the counter top! IIRC this model should have adjustable legs at the front of the machine that you can lower to permit the machine to slide out from under the counter. I safely extracted a later-60s Whirlpool machine from a kitchen with a completely inflexible granite counter top that way!
I am also interested in the dishwasher, but I am not sure when I could get down there to pick it up... If you could email me with some further info about where exactly it is, that would be great! |

You may be able to get it out by slightly lifting the counter at the front, and this model had a separate tray that can be removed last. The best DW to get is the standard tub KM from Sears it is made by WP and it is much easier to install in an older kitchen with a built up floor. It also is the best performing DW made period and only takes about 45 minutes and only costs a little over $300. If you can't find it I can get the model # for you.
Paul I am getting rid of the more basic model of this machine in the doeskin color let me know if we should add it or parts thereof to your next shipment. |
