I was at my favourite local appliance reconditioner (and supplier of spare parts) and I actually had a camera with me.
Check out this lovely Foodarama that's up for sale!

And it's fully reconditioned and ready to go... The only thing that is missing is the tray from underneath the crisper compartment.
According to the store owner, this model was very popular with catering companies in the greater Montreal area.
He's selling this for $400; if anyone might be interested, let me know!

I like that and it's nice, but I am nowhere near Montreal.

Fantastic Looking!

Is it frost free?  There is no visible blower vents that I can see.

Thanks for the pictures.

KELVINATOR SXS

Yes this model is completely frost free, the evaporator fan and vents are in the right wall of the freezer so you don't see them in Pauls photo. Neat SXS but would be very expensive to operate, you could run three or four similar size new refs for the same amount of power.

Yep, that would make sense! Sadly the older frost-free models were real power hogs... The appliance shop guy said this was a 1967 or 1968. Does that make sense??
He also said it sat for 20 years until he brought out of storage earlier this year BUT that he replaced some compressor components to get it running smoothly again.
