I saw this on Craigslist, and for the life of me, cannot figure it out.  What is this machine?

I THINK it is a WCI Frigidaire 1/18 attempted look alike.  I've seen that console on a couple of machines and I believe it's a WCI product if my memory serves me right.  It's got the side-opening lid.  I don't believe it's an Amana product.

But it is an Amana!  This slanted panel was an earlier in the Amana laundry product design - maybe second round after the first in the early 80's like I just brought home.  I always liked this panel and the side-opening lid.   I've really come to like this washer - it sounds like being on a factory-floor in Guangzhou, but it uses copious amounts of water and gets the job done.

Yeah, Amana. I have one similar for sale, and another matched set, that I haven't checked out yet.

An Amana, eh?  At first glance I thought it was a Whirlpool...until I saw the left-opening lid.
