Hi Everyone:
I have a neighbor with a KitchenAid Tall Tub dishwasher (Model KUDK03IT) and am wondering if anyone knows how to go into the service mode and force a soil sensor adjustment? I know that it will happen after a predetermined number of cycles. I have done a fair amount of cleaning on their machine (bad scale gone) with dishwasher cleaner and extra citric acid. Now that everything is clean, I would like to go in and see if I can reset the sensor now.

I searched the archives and was not able to find a reference to this.

Here ya go Bob, I did this on my comparable Kenmore Elite

with the door latched and no cycles selected, press the following buttons within 6 seconds

heated dry
heated dry

you can rapid advance through the test mode using the start key.  This will also reset the control.  During the next full cycle the machine will calibrate itself.
