After the arrival of my LG washer and dryer set id been having problems with the dryer the sides would keep vibrating to the point of where you would stand there and hold the sides to silence the machine after two replacement machines I decided that id return it to the store where I bought it from and ask for a replacement machine, me and the store manager agreed that another LG dryer wouldn’t be the way forward and he mentioned perhaps a bosch dryer I thought about it for a while and decided against it as the idea behind it was I wanted a matching pair, after thinking about it overnight and chatting to a few on here, I decided that I would give a washer dryer a go so it was narrowed it down to a few machines and decided to go with LG again as the washer was brilliant and I loved how quiet the machine was so I decided on LG F1480RD 9kg wash 6kg dry with 6motion ( I know some of you are thinking what a compromise) but I haven’t been disappointed one bit! The machine is silent even when spinning at 1400rpm the dryer is efficient, I can wash and dry a standard load of towels on a cottons 60 with 1400rpm with a cupboard dry in 3hrs 14mins. I know that in the past that LG here has been slammed but the build quality is very high the machines features are brilliant silent washing and drying. I’ve been putting the machine through its paces now for the past week and the performance has been flawless

Hey
Love the new washer/dryer, programmes are pretty similar to the ones on mine with a few differences. Bet you're loving the 6motion wash system! I still haven't tried cottons eco yet lol. Maybe sometime soon. I wish mine had the same door as yours or atleast without the smoked cover on the door as viewing is hidered on camera but isn't as bad in person. Enjoy using your new washer/dryer :D xx |

I’m getting on very well thanks it’s a brilliant bit of kit dyson2drums The door on the machine is smoked you can’t really see what’s going on inside the machine without a torch or a light! I’ve not used cottons eco neither I’ve really only used cottons cycle, I do love the 6 motion is brilliant :-) northernmary |

Hey
I didn't realise that, i've got a pic here which shows the smoked door with the double skin, i'm yet to see an LG washer/dryer in use, always wondered what the drying cycles are like. Just taken a few videos randomly whilst doing a cottons load @ 60oc, 3 rinses, 1400 spin with steam wash selected (please excuse the camera quality, decided to try out my phones camera after having it for 18months!) Enjoy, link below :) CLICK HERE TO GO TO dyson2drums's LINK |
