We need a new thread, as August has left us and the previous thread was massive. Will start with a bang, my jaw hit the floor on seeing this washing machine, a Hotpoint 1200 Microprofile with the LCD not LED display (this type of machine I'd never seen before, seen three this year alone!) with an E30 issue, I believe its the motor (perhaps the brushes) and I know it's a 955* version, but not sure if it is the third 9556 I'd seen on eBay or the later 9559.

That ultima is from about 1992/93. With the liquid crytal display. I hounded my mother for the almond version to no avail as there was nothing wrong with the 9534 we had at the time lol. If I had the money and space i'd quite like that beauty.

Similar to this model from paul and rob's brochure scan I think?

I'd love this Zanussi Nexus if only our house had space for a collection... It only needs a bit of elbow grease and it will be good as new!

Hi Chris,

Do you mean on the detergent dispenser? That's broken, it's not meant to look like that. It should be all black.

...

@newwave (Darren) I liked the range too, but a rather uncommon version, a relative had the later WM36 version with matching dishwasher, now replaced with a Bosch pair.

This is the month of the Hotpoint Spin Slider, here is a great almond Hotpoint 9546 with noisy spin cycles though.

I'm digging that Zanny!

Also like the silver Quattro!

In FoodTech at school they've replaced the Hotpoint WMA10 with a Bush!

The Hottie sounded like Concorde taking off anyway!

I love those 9545 & 9546 spin slider models! Mums best friend had one and I always said i'd get one if the opportunity arose! My fav looking hotpoint apart from microprofiles. I'm Currently living in a 3rd floor small flat until I get confirmation of a new job i've gone for means I'll have to sit this one out! grr!

Loving the Zanussi Washcrafts on at the min but already got a matching pair (Z9292T washer & Z930 Electronic Sensor dryer) so will leave these ones for someone else, would be good to see them bought & cleaned up.

LOVE the FL1023 as its effectively the replacement to my Z9292T, but as i already have a v similar FL1012 i dont feel i can use up limited storage space for something so similar, grrrr :(

Where's an old aircraft hanger when you need one!

Liam
