my local pamida store had those-priced at around $320 as i recall, they did not sell
well-they finally put them on sale for $150 to get rid of them and they sold
quickly at that price. They later offered haier countertop dishwashers and now i
have noticed those are on sale at a deep, deep discount...
I found a danby at the dump once and grabbed it for examination-interestingly,
though the dishwasher was made in china, the timer and pressure switches were of
german manufacture...Two problems were found with the dishwasher-a badly plugged
washpump intake screen and a loose connection to the heating element.
I bought one of those a couple years ago for my mother to use in her tiny little senior apartment. The washing action isn't particularly vigorous and the capacity is miniscule but Mom loves it.
