I've never liked top-loaders until I saw these Bravos high-efficiency washers.
How much water would they use if you had a small load to wash... say a complete tracksuit (top and bottom), a couple of t-shirts and some socks and boxer shorts? Will it be about the same as a front-loader (approx 25 litres), a little more or a lot more? I'd just like to see how feasable it would be for me to own something like this and use it as a daily driver as I do many small loads (as well as the weekly ones) and still getting away with reasonable water tariffs (as I am on a meter). It's never gonna happen anyway... as we don't even get high efficiency top-loaders over here... it's just a personal curiosity. Thanks :-) |

Are the "fins" on the impeller topped with silicone-rubber? Hold on Harriet Nelson, there's a new washer in town! If so, I'll bet they really drag the fabrics around pretty vigorously.
I've never had the chance to play with one of these - other than spinning a bottle of Tide HE at Sears with Steve B. once... RUN!! |
