I don't get it-now why would someone put out an UNUSED dishwasher for the crusher?that is a really nice machine---and glad its got a new home. |

David thanks for posting that great 1969 WP DW literature. The machine I found is one year older [ 1968 ]. I always it was a shame that WP DWs didn't get more market share in the lat e 1960s. At this time the only great DWs were Kitchenaid and Westinghouse for great washing performance. However the WH machines suffered from very poor durability. |

If there was a spot of drool on it, that's my bad... I saw that machine up close when I was in Beltsville for the rebirth of the 56 Whirlpool Imperials and it was stunning!
It made me pine for the 1967 Inglis 'Centennial' portable that belonged to the parents of a very good friend of mine... These folks pledged that they would call me when it was time to replace the machine, but they scrapped it when the timer went and they figured I wouldn't want it... SIGH! |
