Hi Lance, nothing like a Hoovermatic to make a splash on washday!!!, looking forward to seeing the pics....just make sure the hoses are okay, sometimes after not being used for a while they look okay but then will bulge & crack with hot water, (how do I know that!!) quick tip is to cover inside hoses with black duct tape!!
Heres the production dates: First produced in 1961 and ended its run in 1964 March 1961 - 25,305 July 1961 - 117,900 Jan 1962 - 213,957 July 1962 - 307,312 Jan 1963 - 388,611 July 1963 - 524,235 Jan 1964 - 625,070 |

It is very difficult to say, as it all depends on what interest there is at the particular time, sometimes they make quite a lot of money, sometimes not - I bought on in pretty good condition in London, off ebay, for £10.
It is in your interest to take lots of pictures so that potential buyers can see what they are getting. Once you have it listed, cut and paste the URL to the Shoppers Square forum here (its the white box to the right hand side of the items shown at the top of the page) for, if it is going to sell, this is probably the best place for it to be seen. Good luck with your auction Al |
