Hi All!!

Long story short I am the new owner of a model 3125 Hoovermatic washing machine, I think1961??
any way the washer needs some work:
the outside need repainting
some of the belts need replacing and the hoses need some sealing
the machine is very lound

any help with these 3 things would be much appreciated!!

I am glad you have gotten one of these excellent machines, they are good at washing and easy to work on.

You should be able to get parts if you shop around, my biggest problem was the spin can hose to the pump, as this had gone hard and brittle, at the time i coudnt find a replacement so i used tyre sealant (liquid rubber) and gauze wrapped around the rubber hose to seal it.
