My washer shuts down as soon as it starts to spin. Does anyone know what is happening to the machine? | ||

It could be the unbalance switch,if the load is unbalanced it will shut off until you raise the lid to reset it. | ||

if the motor overloads and stalls out when washer starts to spin,there is a problem with the operation of the clutch belt-possibly motor pulley groove fouled with rubber deposits. | ||
