Yes I know they are Whirlpool and not what they used to be, but does anyone have a current Maytag? The features they have that I like are: hard food disposer, nylon racks, silverware not in the door, no towers. I want a decent dishwasher in black in the $400 range or so. Steel tub is not a priority.

MDB7749SAB hard food, stainless, nylon, 53db, front control, $449.10 Lowes $599 HD
MDB6769PAB hard food, plastic, nylon, 57db, top control, $449.10 Lowes $348 HD
MDB4709PAB hard food, plastic, nylon, 57db, front control, $359.10 Lowes $449 HD

I'm leaning towards 7749 for the lower noise and adjustable upper rack. At the sale price it seems decent. Things are tight and I really don't want to go above 450. 4709 I'm ok with plastic and I'm sure its quieter than what I have. Really prefer front controls, so 6769..meh.

It looks like all the Whirlpool models in that price range have filters. Don't want. I wouldn't consider GE or Frigidaire unless somebody here made a good case.

Thoughts?

7749. I like having the adjustable top rack. You can even play "reverse rack" Maytag and put all the plates in the top and glasses and pots in the bottom lol.
